I was on a paid holiday today because a hurricane waring remained in effect for Kyoto.
I enjoyed watching a DVD titled "Desperate Housewives"(season 1). I was touched to see Today's episode (Episode 14: "Love is in the air").
After watching the DVD, I took a skype English Lesson. Today's teacher was a new teacher for me. His name is Joe. He is fromEngland.
Well, in today's lesson, I read the following article. The title was "Artist has camera implanted into his scalp". It sounds scary, doesn't it
This story is a kind of wierd to me. The story is about an artist who lives in NY. He had a camera implanted on the back of his head, and the photos taken by the camera sent to the museum in Quatar.
He puts the camera for 24 hours through the whole year, but he can have a normal life.
The problem is that he has to sleep sitting upright, and there are some privacy issues.
The purpose of his trial was to protest against the social and political problems such as installed surveillance cameras all around the city.
As far as I am concerned, I don't want to have a camera implanted on the back of my head. I will have no privacy because of the camera as well as being so painful!
Today I learned how to pronounce "privacy" in England. In England "privacy" is pronounced as プリヴィスィ, while it is pronounced as プライヴァスィ in the States.
