今日は、陰と陽について調べてみました
陰と陽は、風水を学ぶ際のベースとなる原則です。
下の図は、太極図といって、風水 のシンボルのようなものですが、
黒い部分が“陰”で、白い部分が“陽”です。
受動的で弱さを感じるようような、自然界の女性的のものは“陰”に分類され、
攻撃的で強さを感じるようような、自然界の男性的のものは“陽”に分類されます。
そういえば、女性のあそこを、「陰部」って言いますよね・・・・。すみません。。。
ただ、全てのものを、完璧に陰と陽にわけられるものではありません。
暗い夜空にだって、星が見えますよね
一方で、青空といっても、多少の雲があったりします
とてもハッピーな日であっても、何か不安なことがあったり、
その逆もありますよね
太極図は、陰と陽が相互に作用しあっていることを表しているのですが、
まさしく、白い部分に黒い点があり、
黒い部分白い点があるのは、
こういったことを表しているんですね・・・。
さすが風水
！ なかなか奥深いですよね・・・。

The concept of yin and yang is the first principle of Feng Shui.
Yin is the shady side, and Yang is the sunny side
of the taiji which represents the etenal interplay
between Yin and Yang.
Yin is classified as the female principle of nature
and is regarded as passive and weak.
Yang is classified as the male principle of nature
and is regarded as active and strong.
But nothing can be wholly Yin and wholly Yang.
Everything seeks a stete of harmony and balance.
So in Yang there is a seed of Yin, a black tone.
In Yin there is a seed of Yang, a white tone.
