コロナの感染者がどんどん増えていた緊急事態宣言前のこと。
This is about before the declaration of the state of emergency, when the number of people with corona virus was gradually increasing.
急に思いたってその日にホームセンターやIKEAに行って作った物があります
There is something I made that suddenly came to my mind and before I knew it I was shopping at a DIY store and IKEA.
レゴテーブルです
A Lego table!!
今思うとコロナの影響が長引くかもと察したのか…自粛期間中、本当に作ってよかったって何度も思いました
Now that I think about it, maybe I sensed that this virus was going to affect us for some time... This table made me thank myself many times for having made this during the stay-at-home period.
テーブル板を作って、引き出しを付けただけなので思っていたよりも簡単に作れました
I just made the table top and the drawers, so it was easier than I thought!
角が危ないので角を丸くし、スベスベになるまでヤスリをかけました。
The corner was dangerous so I rounded it, and then smoothed it with sand papers.
Then I painted with my daughter, varnished it, and then smoothed it with sand paper again.

完全に乾いてから、IKEAのテーブルに合わせてズレ防止のために角を貼り付けました
When it was completely dry, I placed the IKEA table and stuck the corner holder so that the table top will stay in place.
こんな感じ

そして、レゴの基礎版を貼り付けて
And I stuck the Lego baseplate
テーブルにレールを付け、引き出しも
secured 4 rails to make 2 drawers!
レゴの基礎版をテーブルの上板に貼ることによって
By sticking the baseplate on to the table top, you can
①娘が作った作品を飽きるまでそのままにしておくことができる
Keep the art (LEGO) that my daughter has made until she gets bored of it to make a different one
②上板を外すとお絵かきやねんどができるテーブルになる
Take off the table top to use the table for drawing and playing with play doughs.
今では毎日このテーブルにお世話になっています
My daughter uses this table everyday!
このIKEAのテーブル、クレヨンとか絵具がついてもすぐに拭き取ることができるのでこのテーブルを選びました
I chose this IKEA table because it’s so easy to clean the crayons and paints that my daughter has accidentally decorated on the table!
