The best event I know that I always recommend to expectant mothers...
マタニティベビーフェスタ
Maternity and Baby Festa
とても有名なので聞いたことがある方多いと思いますし、たくさんレビューもあるのですが
This is one of the most famous events for maternity and baby in Japan, so many of you may have heard about this event and may have read about it
それでも自分の口からオススメしたい
BUT! I still want to recommend it to you with my own words!
このイベントは本当にすごいんです
This event is just amazing!!!
年に2回、春と秋に開催されるこのイベント
The event is held twice a year, in spring and in autumn.
関東は横浜、関西は大阪で開催されます
Yokohama in Kanto region, and Osaka in Kansai region.
マタニティベビーフェスタの名の通り
As the event name "Maternity and baby festa" tells you,
プレママと産後ママ向けのイベントです
it is an event for expectant mothers and mothers with babies.
このイベント、なにがずごいって
What is so amazing about this event is,
最先端の情報を得られる
You can get the latest information
ためになるセミナーが多い
There are so many seminars that are useful and teaches you a lot
ハイハイ競争、手形スタンプ、マタニティペイントなど思い出になるイベントが多い
There are events that you can take home as memory like crawling race, hand prints, and belly painting
なんといっても、お土産が多い
and last but not least, many free samples and gifts
このイベント、本当にもらえるお土産が多くて
You can get so many free samples and gifts
行く前にネットで調べて、お土産がなくなる前に！って焦ってたけど
I had looked up online before I went, and was in a rush to go before they were all gone
一切焦る必要がないぐらい、これでもかってくらいお土産がもらえます
but there are just so much you can get that there were absolutely no need to rush!!
そして、妊娠時と産後2回行ってみて思ったのが
And after going to this event twice: during pregnancy and after birth
プレママの方がもらえるお土産が圧倒的に多い
I realised you can get more free samples and gifts if you go while you are pregnant!!

これ、右端のグリコのお土産を除いて全部タダでもらえたんです
Apart from the Glico snacks at the right bottom, I got all of this for free!!!
企業のブースがずらりと並んでいるのですが、そのブースでプレゼンを聞いたり、相談会に参加したりアンケートに答えたりするだけでその企業の商品をもらえるんです
There are many booths from so many companies, and if you listen to their presentations or participate in free consultation service or just answer surveys, you get free samples and gifts from those companies.
もちろん、通路でただ商品を配ってくれている企業もありました
Of course, there were companies that were just handing out goodies in the path too!
なかでもこのイベントの目玉は企業のセミナーに参加すること！
And the main event is to listen to company seminars at the big seminar venue!
予め整理券をもらいに行き、ゲットできるとセミナーを聞くことができます
You have to get tickets before the seminar, and once you are lucky enough to get it you are allowed in the venue!
そして、セミナーに参加するとブースでは配っていないような少し高価な商品をいただくことができます
And if you have listened to the seminar, you are given goodies that are a bit more expensive than the ones given as free samples!!
私はおしゃぶりに関して賛否両論あることを知っていたので買うか悩んでいたのと
I knew that there were pros and cons about dummies, so I couldn't decide whether I should buy one or not.
哺乳瓶をまだ買っていなかったので欲しくて
And I also still needed to buy a milk bottle
歯科医の先生によるおしゃぶりの重要性についてのレクチャーを聞いて哺乳瓶をもらいました
So I decided to get the tickets for a lecture about the importance of dummies by a dental surgeon, and receive a milk bottle! lol
哺乳瓶をもらえたことはもちろん嬉しかったのですが、それ以上におしゃぶりの話がとても為になって
Of course I was so happy I got a bottle for free, but the lecture about dummies were so good and it taught me so much
哺乳瓶をもらいに行ったことをすっかり忘れてしまうほどでした
I completely forgot I went there to get a new bottle!!!
初めて妊娠したとき、どんな商品を使ったら良いのか、どこの商品を使ったら良いのか分からないですよね
When you're pregnant for the first time, it's difficult to know what kinds of goods you need, and which products are best for you.
クリームなどは人によって合う合わないもあるし…
As for stuff like creams, what's good and what's bad depends on the person...
赤ちゃんの商品に関してもおむつ１つとったって種類が多すぎてどれがいいのか全く分からない
And for baby products, just take diapers/ nappies for example. There are way too many different diapers/ nappies to choose from!!
しかも、1袋が大きいから試しに色々ってなかなかできないんですよね〜
They only sell in large quantities, it's difficult to just try everything and decide.

So this event, because you can get so many different free samples for maternity and baby,
初めてのプレママさんや産後ママには本当に神すぎるイベントなんです
is just so helpful for expectant mothers and mothers with babies! (Especially for those who has never had a baby before)
残念ながら今年の4月に開催予定だったパシフィコ横浜でのマタニティベビーフェスタはコロナの影響により中止になってしまいましたが、もしお日にちが合えばぜひ秋のマタニティベビーフェスタには大きなかばんを持って足を運んでみてください
Unfortunately, the event that was supposed to be held at Pacifico Yokohama this April has been cancelled due to covid-19. However, if you have the chance please try and go to the event held in autumn with a very big bag!!
