今日はLinkin Parkのiridescent をご紹介しようと思います
Iridescent はアルバムA thousand sunsのトラックであり、映画トランスフォーマー/ダークサイドムーンの主題歌として使われています
アルバムが戦争、それも核戦争をイメージしたものであり、この曲も核爆弾や戦争を彷彿とさせるような歌詞が多いです

メロディーが美しく、歌詞も悲しいですが優しさを感じます。悲しみも怒りも喪失感も、全て忘れてしまおうと歌っていますね。
苦しみ続けるよりも、どこかで「仕方のないことだったんだ」と区切りをつけた方が楽になれるかもしれません
