"Don't you worry baby, I'm like Detroit, I'm crazy"

It's about time I write a review-sorta thing about the concert I went to on Wednesday.

The band was detroit7, from Tokyo, Japan. They play good ol' Rock&Roll and Garage Rock.
You can find them on
MySpace.

They played at Dürer Kert ("Dürer Garden"), the club that's located at the old university building where I spent the first 1.5 years of my higher education. It used to be a university café xD
Now it's an underground club, even The Rasmus played there last year.

Anyway...I went to the show straight from class (I had an extra class put in, normally I finish earlier on Wednesdays).
There I met up with my friends; Amane and Ayami.

The show was fantastic! The two opening bands, Igor and Sunday Fury, played nu-metal/metal core, which was okay and got the people going. And detroit7 was just wonderful! Purely awesome! Wild! I wanna see them again!
Hopefully the small audience of 65 people didn't leave a bad impression.
Here's a video for you:

You can watch the rest of the Europe shows at detroit7's official YouTube channel.

Of course I bought a T-shirt and a CD, which I got signed.
The band members were really happy that I could manage to speak what little Japanese I'm confident with. ^^

A Hungarian web TV channel also made a short interview with me and a couple of people but it's not been uploaded to their website as of yet.

We also had a short afterparty where the band members and the staff decided to join us.
The party was over at 1:30, but me and Ayami decided we were not tired enough and walked home, thru the whole 14th district.
It took us 2.5 hours, me in a miniskirt and hoodie, and Ayami in her mother's leather coat which was way too big for her. xD
We stopped at a McDonald's McDrive and bought food there, and ate it on a bench in front of the restaurant. XDXDXD
How do I always get involved in such adventures? *gegege*

As the end note: good gig was good.
