The forecast said it would be a gorgeous Saturday, so I made a suggestion to go on a bike ride before our usual Saturday boardgame get-together. Aleja suggested that we bike to the Rideau Canel Lcok 46. It's about 45 min ride each way from Kingston.

The bike team today was Aleja (the guide), Nilly, Laura, Andres, and me ウインク I rented a bike that came with a basket in the back from Ahoy Rentals.

This is our bike route today!

On our way to the locks, we took the new bridge. This was my favorite part of the bike ride today. The bridge is a very good route for bikers 爆 笑!

Kingston Mills was very beautiful. There were lots of picnic tables - I would love to come back here for a picnic once the foliages turn its colours もみじ.

Aleja and I crossing the lock, asking Nilly to take a picture for us 泣き笑い.

I learned today that Kingston Mills is the last part of the locks of the Rideau Canel that starts from Ottawa. The canel connects all the way to Ottawa.

On our way back, there was a big uphill...the uphill looked so scary from far. Not scary once you are on it, just really hard! I had to get off the bike and push it プンプン.

This was a really fun bike ride 自転車!
