Anti-heroというイメージは、分かりやすく言うとダークヒーローみたいなものでしょうか。優しくて正義感あふれるヒーローの裏側にいる、暗い部分も持ったヒーロー。
この曲で歌われている、「自分に自信が持てないこと、そんな自分なのに周りには称賛してくれる人がいること」みたいな感情を表すのにぴったりな言葉選びに思えて、テイラー天才だなあ…と思ってしまいます。
テイラーほどのスーパースターじゃなくても、私もこんな気持ちになることはあるし、やってることは間違ってないはずなのに、自分よりもっと人柄の良い人たちに対してコンプレックスを感じているタイプなので、この曲は「でもそう感じているのは一人じゃないよ」ってお守りみたいなものです。
