以前、髪の毛を切ったときに
ビフォー＆アフターを撮りました。
I took a before and after picture of my hair when I had a haircut.
そして、ビフォー写真を
ある美容師さんに見せると、
When I showed this before photo to my hairdresser, he said,
「重い」。
"It's too heavy."
「そうだよねー。私はそう思うもんなぁ」
と思っていました。
I agreed with him because I thought so too.
しかし、ある美容師は、
こう言ったのです。
But another hairdresser said,
「おー、キレイな髪だね〜」。
"Oh, Your hair is beautiful!"
私は思わぬ言葉にびっくり。
I was surprised at the unexpected words.
この美容師さんとは
長い付き合いだから、
決してお世辞は言わない。
彼の純粋な感想だと思いました。
I have known this hairdresser for a long time, so he never flatters me. I thought it was his genuine impression.
うれしかったですね。
I was happy to hear that.

This is the after-photo
物事の見方は、
大きく分けて2つありますよね。
There are two main ways we look at things.
"プラス "を見るか
"マイナス "を見るか
We either see the "positive" or the "negative."
そして、
そこに良いも悪いもありません。
どちらも必要です。
And there is no good or bad there.
Because both are necessary.
プロモーションでは必要な見方ですが、
どんなことでも、
この2つを見ることができるなら、
成功をもたらすでしょうね。
It's a necessary view in promotion, but whatever you do, if you can see those two things, it will bring you success.
