The rainy season is over

My arms are sore because I went touring on my Harley Davidson yesterday. A problem happend before I left. My Harley wouldn’t start.

I hadn’t been riding it for a few months. The battery was flat so I called JAF. 30minutes later, JAF arrived in front of my house and fixed it. The engine started.

He said, ‘don’t stop the engine until the battery is charged’. I started touring immediately to recharge the battery.

It was muggy yesterday. I was soaked with sweat before I passed through the downtown area. There was a traffic jam, when I began to drive on the Tomei Expressway. I had to use the clutch and brakes often, so my hands and forearms got sore.

Once I got through the traffic jam, I really enjoyed a straight run on the highway. I went down the Tomei Expressway and to the Ashinoko Skyline.

Ashinoko Skyline is one of the roads with the best view. You can usually see Mt. Fuji and Ashinoko Lake. But because it was a hazy day, I couldn’t see either. A roadside thermometer read 26 degrees. It’s a nice temperature for touring.
