神奈川県 藤沢市に「おたがいさん」という高齢者介護ホームがあります。
そこでは、駄菓子屋も経営し、畑作りも、ホームを利用している高齢者が、
交代で、お手伝いをしています。
その上、近くの小学校の生徒が学校帰りにお菓子を買いにきて、ホームのお年寄りと
親しくなって、いろんな事を教わっています。
お習字、畑仕事、お料理、そしてお手玉遊びや将棋、折り紙等、子供達は、おおいに
楽しみ、高齢者を尊敬するようになっています。
そして、そのお礼に、音楽を聞かせたり、劇をみせたりしています。
おどろく事に、そこの利用者の８０％は認知症だったのですが、どんどん改善している
そうです。
今は、高齢者の方々にとって「おたがいさん」は第二の我が家となっています。
Open care home
There is a care house called [Otagaisan] in Fujisawa city in Kanagawa prf.
Elderly people can visit, take a bath and stay in the home.
The care house has a candy store and the farming garden, the elderly
can work there.
Interesting to say, elementary school students near by drop in the store
after school and they can learn various things from elderly people, who
have special hobbies.
For example, calligraphy,cooking, farming, playing otedama, shougi or holding origami.
At first, 80% of usures were dementia, but surprisingly they are overcoming
in theses activities.
Now the elderly feel the care house as their second home.
