アメリカのアリゾナ州で生まれたジェシカ コックスさんは、生まれつき両腕がありません、
でも、彼女は、なんでも出来るのです。
実は、彼女は、１４歳の時から義手を使っていません、それでも彼女は、料理や着替えは勿論のこと、コンタクトレンズの着脱からパソコンまで足でこなします。
さらに、車の運転も給油も一人で出来る上、スキューバーダイビングの資格も取り、アメリカ
テコンドの黒帯認定者でもあり、アリゾナ大学の心理学の学位も持っています。
彼女のお母さんは、いつも彼女に言っていました、”決し「て出来ない」と言わないこと”と。
それで、お母さんに感謝をこめて誕生日のお祝いをしようと、３年かけてパイロットの資格を取り、自分で操縦して、フライトのプレゼントをしたのは、彼女が、２５歳の時でした。
２９歳でテコンドの先生と結婚し、いまでは、招かれていろいろな所で講演活動をしています。
Never say never
Jessica Cox is a physically challenged woman.
She was born in Arizona in 1983 with no arms.
However, she can do every thing with her feet.
For example, she can eat, cook, and put on cloths and contact lenses and so on with her feet.
At first, she used artificial arms, but when she was 14 years old,
she stopped to use them.
Now she can operate any keyboards and she got the license of scuba diving and Kuro-obi Authorization of American Tecond.
More over , when she was 25 years, she got the license of pilot.
She flue her mother on the airplane to cerebrate her mother’s birthday and give her thankfulness.
She is the first pilot operating with feet in the world.
When she was 29 years old she married with the teacher of Tecond
“I praise myself about the difference from others, and I think it’s
important to desire, decide and be fearless, persistent, because my mother always said to me [never say never].” said she in the lecture, after she received the degree of psychology of Arizona University.
I think we should learn her spirit.
