六本木にある インターナショナル クリニックの院長フェゲニー アクショーノフさんは、無国籍
の白系ロシア人です。
こくれんWHO指定医でもあり、外国人専門の病院です。
フェゲニーさんは、両親が、ロシア革命で赤軍に追はれ、ハルピンに逃れ、そこで生まれました。
彼は６歳の時から医師を目指し、１８歳で来日、早稲田大学で日本語を習得し、通訳のアルバイト
をしながら、東京慈恵医大で学び、２６歳で医師免許国家試験に合格し、１９５３年、２８歳の時、開業、現在、８９歳になられます。
ロシア語、日本語をはじめ、英語、中国語、ドイツ語、現代ギリシャ語と、６カ国語が話せる彼の
患者さんは、各国の在日外交官をはじめ、マイケル・ジャクソン、マドンナ、フォード、ジョン・ウエイ
等、有名人も多い一方で、彼は貧しい人達からは、一切料金はとりません、ミャンマーの一青年
の場合など、一年間面倒をみて帰国をさせてあげました。
知る人は皆、彼を “現代の赤ひげ先生”と呼んでいます。
Smiling is beyond the border
In Roppongi-town in Tokyo there is an International Clinic
for foreigners.
The doctor of the clinic, Fegeni-Acsionof, is a stateless Russian.
He opened the clinic about 60 year ago, he is now 89 and still
working.
Actually, his parents were exiled from Russia by the Red and moved to Harbin, Fegeni was born there.
He aimed to be a doctor since he was 6 years old.
He lost is state with his father dying.
When he was 18 he came to Japan, at first he learned Japanese
in Waseda university. Then he entered Tokyo Jikei-medical university.
He got the national medical license at his age of 26, and he opened
the clinic when he was 28.
He can understand 6 kinds of languages, Japanese, Russian, English, Chinese, German and modern Greek.
Foreign diplomats and world famous persons see him,
when they come to Japan, they always rely on him.
They were Mikel-Jacson, Madonna, Ford, etc.
On the other side he gives poor people free medicine, so he is called as “modern Akahige Sensei”.
They say he always smiles gently.
His motto is “smiling is beyond the border”.
Sorry to say he is not very healthy now but he says he keeps working until he leaves his work to a successor.
