山口県森林組合では、森林保護の為に間引き伐採をしています、
その廃材を利用して、さまざまな製品を作り、地域の活性に役立てています、
中でも、廃材を粉砕し、チップにして燃料とし、発電し、地域に電力を供給しているのです。
これは、まさに、一石四鳥の活動です。

Killing four birds with one stone
Forestry association joint association in Yamagutchi Prf. cut
surplus trees in the forests for protecting their environment.
The cut trees are used to make furniture or toys and the left lumbers are ground to make pellets.
The pellets are burned to generate electricity in Iwatani-Power
plant , so, the local people can use the electricity cheaper than
any other area.
As you can see,
This system does good for local people and environment, reducing amount of CO2, and increasing employment.
I just want call it “killing four birds with one stone”.
