２００７年のある日、カナダの或る高校で、一人の男生徒がピンクのシャツで登校した時、数人のクラスメイトから、ゲイだと罵倒される等、いじめを受けているのを見ても誰も助けることが出来なかった。
しかし、そのなかの二人が相談し、自分達の貯金でピンクのタンクトップを５０着買って、何人かの
友人にメールで呼びかけ、学校で着てほしいと頼んだところ、翌朝、始めからピンクを着て来た子
も居て、校庭は１００人程のピンク生徒で埋まった、それを見たいじめっ子は、驚いて、いじめた子にあやまりました。
じつは、勇気ある二人がメールした時、他の皆も何かしなければ、と思っていたことがわかって
嬉しかったそうです。
このニュウスは、世界に広がり、今は、２月の最終水曜日をピンクシャツデーとして、いじめ根絶
運動が７５カ国で実行されています。
The world without bullying
This is a story in a high school in Canada in 2007.
One day a high school boy went to school wearing a pink shirt, and so he was bullied by a few classmates being called “gay” and poked.
Other classmate wanted to help him in their mind but they could do nothing.
However two boys among them emailed to ask some classmates to put on pink shirt for school next morning and they bought 50 pink tank tops to prepare for other boys.
Surprisingly, the school yard was full of students with pink shirts next morning.
They knew that they wanted to do something to help him.
Then the bullies apologized to the boy who bullied by them.
After then, pink shirts activity has spread in the world.
Now 75 countries have the pink shirts event on the last Wednesday in February to make the world without bullying.
I think it’s the best way to solve bulling problems without blaming any body.
