Hope for the Phillipine youth
Ms Yatiyo Nakamura was born in a wealthy family.
中村八千代さんは、裕福な家庭に生まれました。 が、しかし～
留学から帰ると、お父さんが巨額な借金を残して、自殺していました。
But she had a hard experience, becuase, when she came back
from studing abroad, her father had suicided and left enomous
debt. she had to work hard for the debt, for a while.
借金返済の為に働きながら、彼女は、留学中に見たフィリピンの子供達
の事が忘れられませんでした。
During working in Japan, she remembered about Phillipine
children, they had sparkling eyes while they were infancy,
but as they grew over 10 years old, their eyes lost shinning.
幼い時にはキラキラ 輝いていた目が10歳ぐらいになり将来ガ見え始めると、
その輝きを失っていくのです。
After she cleared off the debt, she made up her mind to go
and help the slums, it was at her age of 30.
She opened a restaurant with the Social Enterprise members,
and highered the youg slums.
返済を終へて、彼女はフィリピンに行き、スラム街にレストランを開き、地元の
若者を雇いました。
そして、さらに、彼らの給料の一部を貯金し、彼らの独立に備えています。
Further more she keeps a part of their payment fo their
independent.
She hopes that these youth will do good for their country
in 20 or 30 years in thefuture.
20年、30年後に、彼らが自国のために働く人材に成長してほしいと、彼女は
望んでいます。
I hope so, too.
