Friends Without A BorderというNGOが運営するアンコール小児病院を見学しました。
入院する子供におもちゃを市場で３５ドル（２９４０円）で購入しプレゼントしました。
また、足りていない粉ミルク（１缶２０ドル）５缶分１００ドル（８４００円）を寄付しました。
アンコール小児病院から早くも返信を頂きました。

次に私たちは先輩達が建てた公立グラフィス小学校を訪問しました。
場所はシェムリアップから車で３時間のコンポントム州
先輩達の意志を引き継いで私たちはグラフィス小学校へ継続支援を行っています。
しかし、問題が発生
当日、授業を見学するアポイントをとっていたにも関わらず先生がやってこない
一人は結婚式に参加、一人は理由なし
という悲惨な状況
これはカンボジアの田舎にはよくある話だ
教員の給料は安く、月に５０ドル程度なだけでなく、政府からの支払いが遅いために先生のやる気は低いらしい
新任の先生は政府から４ヶ月も給料を滞納されているらしい
私たちは学生なためにグラフィス小学校を定期的にチェックすることが出来ない
それによって教員がこないのだ
そのため生徒のやる気を徐々に低下しているそうだ
政府の早急の対策を願うしか為す術はないのか
日本でのミーティングが急務となった。
嘆いているだけでは３時間かけて来た甲斐がないので急遽私たちが教鞭をとり、日本語の授業を開催
暇なクラスはみんなでサッカーやバレーに興じるなど悲惨な状況になってしまった。
彼らには生徒数に足る３００人冊のノートと３００本のペンをプレゼントしました。
これらはプノンペンの市場で合わせて９０ドル（７５６０円）でした。
