I am a very big fan of this soccer team. サッカー
When I started getting into the WC, I started looking at teams in Germany, and I was attached to Munich's team! ドキドキ
Unfortunately I don't have the channel to watch these games at home.
So I just have to walk to a sports bar and watch it there with all the other fans! ビール
Hallo Zusammen~!

I just moved to Munich, Germany last week, and I LOVE IT HERE. ドキドキ ドキドキ ドキドキ ドキドキ
The day I leave this city is going to be one of the saddest days of my life. I'm not joking.
I really feel at home here, despite the fact I don't speak the language.
The only thing I don't like is the bureaucracy, which is enough to drive someone clinically insane just reading about it. 叫び
But then again, even the Germans hate it too. So I can't hate it all alone (`∀´)
I will not give up!

One day I went to the farmers market and found a bottle of 10-year old Spanish red wine for €9.00 (about $12)
Where the hell in America are you going to find something like that with that kind of price??
Usually wines that old are about $30+. I'm not joking.
So I opened the bottle that day and tried it... It wasn't very good, but it wasn't very bad either.
I wasn't expecting mediocre, so I was kind of sad しょぼん
But then two days later (aka today) I drank it again because I couldnt waste it.
I'm eating it with chocolate wafers right now. So good! :*:・( ̄∀ ̄)・:*:
To a European this may not seem much, but to am American like me, this is HEAVEN!! $J'aimerai tellement te dire ce que veut mon coeur

The weird thing about Europe (in general, it seems) is that I keep getting stared at. 目
Do my foreign roots look THAT obvious? XD
But when I start talking to them they are very friendly.

I really like this place! ラブラブ

My grandmum had another stroke last night. This time she was with my uncle in Texas, who didnt know the symptoms until it was almost too late. We don't think she will be able to survive the week; a respirator is doing the breathing for her. Now we are just playing the waiting game.

It was hard talking to my mum today. I never know what to say in times like this except for giving unsolicited advice like I always do, but this time it was wise to keep my mouth shut. And just listen. And I am glad I did. As I was listening to my mum tell me her regrets and how she thinks she is at fault and how this wouldn't have happened ifs, it got me thinking about changing another part of myself.

Whatever the situation is, never live with regrets. If there is something you regret, do everything in your power to fix it or turn it around. What's so great about living through a hardship is that you were granted second chance (or third, and fourths!) to redeem yourself. If the hardship is irreversible, learn from it. It's not about who is at fault and the what-could-have-beens. And if things still arent the way you think they're supposed to be because the forces of nature refuses to work with you, live with the fact that at least you tried your best. Take the time to kick yourself and cry and let all the anger out if you want, but always ALWAYS get back up.

So that's what I learned today. The loss will be hard and there will be tears, but I know I will manage. I hope my mum will too. She's been doing a good job.

I will update more European pictures too; I have been very busy.
「 Nästa 」 That is my very first Swedish word!! 「 Nästa~ 」
I learned it in the train, of all places. It means 「 Next 」地下鉄
So I would hear 「 Nästa~ Östermalmstorg 」「 Nästa~ Gärdet 」「 Nästa~ T-Centralen」
And this is what T-Centralen looks like:

It's really impressive! It looks like Grand Central Station but it acts like an airport.

The Alleyways deserves its own post.
Mainly because Stockholm is full of them.
It's so easy to get lost, but you find something new around the corner!
They very, from very wide alleys to really narrow ones.
Either way, there is no way for a car to drive through them.
The narrow ones I am a little concerned with because a fat person would have a hard time fitting through.
Im not joking. That's how narrow they are.

When I was in Stockholm, there was a big election coming up in September.
So I got the full blast of all the posters dealing with the election.
Sadly, I do not know a lot about current Swedish politics.
I usually keep up with Germany, France, and Great Britain.
Swedish current events are definitely something I will look into.
But I wonder sometimes... With a country like Sweden, what really happens there?
Truthfully, they haven't really contributed much to the world. Nor do they have a big reputation [good or bad]
All I know is that they have some problems with Iraq/Iranians emigrating to the country and not learning the language.
But the percentage is so small, so they really don't have to worry about that.
Really, that issue is more of a social issue than anything else.

These guards' uniforms are really pretty!
I really love the pickelhaube. Prussian style helmets. I did not think I would see one in my lifetime.
I really wanted one for myself о(ж>▽<)y ☆

Pretty much, after [temporarily] being liberated from the buildings in America, all the major cities in Europe almost start to mesh together. ( ̄▽+ ̄*)
However, Stockholm is a totally different story.
It has its own charm to it. I think it's because of the way all the streets are laid out.
I've never seen anything like it.
It's that, plus the big river that runs through the city. Very few cities have a river like that.
So there are a lot of bridges.

I don’t hear Swedish everyday.
When I started to hear Swedish constantly the first thought that came to my mind was this:
Swedish almost sounds like Mandarin. Except 100x (literally!) slower.
