スイスのMeyer Burgerが3S IndustriesをＵＳＤ２９３ｍで買収です。
Global technology group Meyer Burger Technology has completed its merger with solar group 3S Industries
The registered shares of the merged company were recently traded for the first time on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Meyer Burger’s operations focus on systems and processes for cutting and handling crystalline and other high-grade materials.The company has its headquarters and the production facility of Meyer Burger in Switzerland, while the group companies, Meyer Burger Automation, Hennecke Systems and AMB Apparate + Maschinenbau have their headquarters and produciton facilities in Germany. The group has also subsidiaries and own service centres in Germany, Norway, China and Japan, which all are represented by its own staff on-site.
3S, comprises its holding company 3S Industries and its subsidiaries Somont, 3S Swiss Solar Systems and Pasan, a supplier of manufacturing equipment for the production of solar modules. 3S Industries recorded net sales of CHF102m in fiscal year 2008 and employed 323 people worldwide as at mid-2009.
