CCC closes low carbon fund

Climate Change Capital has closed a USD200m (pound;135m)
private equity fund investing in low-carbon energy and environmental technologies.
The company said it would invest between 5m and 20m in the
companies that met its criteria.
The fund brings Climate Change Capital's total funds
under management to about USD1.5bn (pound;743m), spread among five funds.
James Cameron, vice-chairman, said the company was also
planning to bring out at least two more investment
funds in the next 12 months, which would increase
funds under management by between USD500m and USD1bn.
