Smoked Ham Pasta recipe hints of cooking
With a small piece of leftover smoked ham, I decided to make a pasta cream sauce.
Most times when making cream sauce, an essential ingredient is tarragon.
Also, an important technique is to reserve some starchy pasta water, which is added when mixing the pasta and sauce together.
This stops the finished dish from becoming too dry and gummy.
