私は、狂ったようにボケットへ手を突っ込みました。 ナイフの刃を立てようとして、爪に傷を付けてしまいました －－－－ そして、ナイフの刃を突き刺し、ようやくのことで鍵を外しました。 その瞬間、曲乗りオートバイが柵にぶつかろうとするときのような勢いで、網戸めがけて突進して来たピートの身体を、私は間一髪のところで除けることが出来たのでした。
