For mens clothing resellers, the Q4 hype isn’t really that real.  At least not for me. I don’t really care about summer slowdowns or Q4.  I think the world we live in deals in absolutes. And if you remember correctly, that’s what Siths are all about (the dark side of the force). More of the same Democrat/Republican BS. Personally, I just try to do meaningful work every single day. Moreover, when you are selling used mens clothing you need to understand that people are not buying thrift store clothing to wrap up in a nice Poshmark bow and give as a gift under the mistletoe.  Yes, weather is definitely a factor and sales of used mens clothing will rise from August through December. But it will not be the same kind of rise that we will see with new goods (i.e. “Sneaks & Cleats” or, of course TOYS). Of course I’m not saying that any of these is better or worse than the other.  I personally don’t like selling a million different things because I feel it’s just annoying. Kind of like working a job for a boss that rules over you with mindless policies and strategies. Do clothing sales (MENS) slow in the summer? For sure. I would say parts of June, July, and August are the slowest.  However, random months like February, April, and October can be fantastic. Only 2 of those months fall within the oft-mentioned / almighty Q4. So if anyone asks me about Q4, don’t be offended by my glossing over the issue because honestly it’s a non-issue. It just so happens that colder weather and Q4 intertwine/overlap.  I’m more about colder weather than holiday shopping. After all, are you going to give your dad a used thrift shop shirt or sweater for Christmas? I dunno. I wouldn’t. Not judging here - you’re talking to the most frugal dude on the planet. It’s just that typically people buy NWT items to gift during Q4. Can you find that stuff at thrift stores?  Definitely. Yet we all know that most clothing at the thrift is going to be used without tags. Anyways, I’m going to stop rambling. I just wanted to be cool and do one of those long-form text posts that all the cool kids are doing. #resellerrevolution #resellersquad #resellerfitfam #resellercommunity #ebayseller
