The Qosmio range of laptops now has new additions in the form of the Toshiba Qosmio X875 notebook and its 3D version. Boasting of an amalgamation of technologies from Intel and Nvidia, these gaming devices have also been bestowed with stylish exteriors.
The Qosmio notebooks are powered by the third generation Intel Core processors, while the improved visual performance can be attributed to the Nvidia GeForce GTX 670M graphics processor accompanied by 3GB GDDR5 graphics memory. The Black Widow encasing features a diamond textured aluminum enclosure along with a Qosmio logo.
Fitted with an LED backlit, raised tile keyboard, these Toshiba Qosmio X875 portable PCs sport 17.3-inch displays. The Harman Kardon quad speakers deployed with Slipstream technology, teamed up with SRS Premium Sound 3D should deliver an enhanced acoustic experience. Some other entertainment-centric features include a Blu-ray Disc player and Toshiba Media Controller software in addition to an HDMI connector and four USB 3.0 ports.
The notebooks are incorporated with Toshiba Sleep & Music, which allows users to listen to music even when the devices are powered off. Moreover, they can be configured with hybrid hard drives and dual hard drives of up to 2TB capacity. The manufacturer has also thrown in four slots that extend support to 1600MHz memory.
The Toshiba Qosmio X875 and X875 3D release date and price details are already out. They will be made available in Q3 2012 for prices ranging between $1,299 and $2,499, correspondingly through ToshibaDirect.com and other authorized retailers.
