写真スポット「富士山ローソン」に黒幕設置始まる
道路向かいのコンビニの屋根越しに雄大な富士山を撮影できると外国人観光客らに人気の写真スポットで、道路横断などのマナー違反が相次いでいるとして、山梨県富士河口湖町は３０日、富士山を見えなくする大きな黒い幕を歩道に設置する作業を始めた。数日中に完成する見通し。
町などによると、「ローソン河口湖駅前店」前で撮影された写真が交流サイト（ＳＮＳ）で話題となり、令和４年１２月ごろから混雑するように。ごみのポイ捨てや無断駐車、大型バスや車が走る町道を横切るマナー違反が目立っていた。
町は警備員を配置し、英語の注意書きを設置するなどしたが改善されず、高さ約２・５メートル、幅約２０メートルの黒い幕を設けることにした。歩道は町の所有物のため、設置することに問題はないとしている。
近所に住む男性（７２）は「富士山が一番きれいに見える場所だと誇りに思っていたので残念だが、いつ事故が起きてもおかしくないので苦渋の決断だと思う」と話した。
Fujikawaguchiko Town in Yamanashi Prefecture began work on the 30th to install a large black curtain on the sidewalk to block the view of Mt. According to the town and others, photos taken in front of the Lawson Kawaguchiko Ekimae store became a hot topic on social media, and the area became congested around December 2022. Littering, unauthorized parking, and violations of manners such as crossing the town road where large buses and cars run were prominent.
The town has deployed security guards and posted warning signs in English, but the situation has not improved, so it has decided to install a black curtain about 2.5 meters high and 20 meters wide. The town says that there is no problem with installing the curtain, as the sidewalk is owned by the town.
A man (72) who lives nearby said, "It's unfortunate because we were proud of this place as the best view of Mt. Fuji, but I think it's a difficult decision because an accident could happen at any time."
