English Lesson (August 23rd)

Good day and welcome to our English lesson for today! ☀️

今日も元気にEnglish Lessonスタート

Everybody’s seating nicely so let’s start our lesson! And the letter for the day is “Letter J”. 

お話を聞く姿勢がとっても素敵な子どもたち

今日の文字レッスンは、「Ｊ」です

We first learn how to distinguish a “big letter and a small letter J”. We then gave them two cards and here the yellow card is placed on the “big letter J”. 

まず、「大きな文字の J と小さな文字の j」の違いを教えてもらいます

黄色いカードは大文字かな〰︎⁇小文字かな〰︎と、

考えている子どもたち…

大文字Ｊの上に貼っていきましょう

And on the blue card is should be placed in the “small letter j”. Everyone’s doing very well! 

青いカードは小文字jの上に貼っていくよ

The next word is jellyfish. It was a little hard for them to remember the word because it’s long but they said the jellyfish are so cute.  

次の単語は「クラゲ」です

長い単語なので覚えるのが少し難しかったようですが…クラゲがとってもかわいいね〰︎と教えてくれましたよ

And the third word is jeans. They all are enjoying the three words we prepared today. Nice! 

次の単語はジーンズです

ジーンズも絵の上からペタペタと紙を貼って、嬉しそうな子どもたちでした

We also should practice their hand writing skills using the “Letter J”. They all wrote a big and a small letter using a pen.

「文字 J」を使って書く練習もしましたよ

全員がペンを使って大きな文字と小さな文字をなぞりました

真剣な表情が、素敵

Most of them are good at tracing the letters and can write without assistance. Great! 

先生のお手伝い無しで、自分で文字をなぞることができましたすごい

After all the activity, we made a circle and sing some songs about the months of the year and the days of the week. 

最後はお歌の時間です

みんなとっても楽しそうに歌って、踊っていましたよ
