“And this Gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

UNLIKE WARS, FAMINE, PLAGUES, AND EARTHQUAKES, which Jesus called “the beginning of sorrows,” He said that this particular sign?the Gospel being preached in all the world?was a specific sign that would indicate when the actual end of the age would be upon the world.

According to The Almanac of the Christian World, Christians and Christian churches now exist in every country of the world.※59 Missiologists estimate that between 75 and 85 percent of the world’s population have heard the Gospel at least once.※60
Over 50 million Bibles are distributed every year, as well as nearly 80 million New Testaments. Four billion Gospel tracts are also printed each year.

Never in the course of history has the Gospel been preached in all the world to all nations as it is right now. If not directly by missionaries, it is certainly being preached by the modern mediums of radio, television, telecommunications, and the Internet. It would seem this precondition to the End has been fulfilled.
歴史の過程で福音が全ての国に、全世界で説教されているのは今しかありません。
直接宣教師によってでなくても、それは確かにラジオ、テレビ、通信、インターネットの近代的な媒体によって説教されています。

聖骸布（せいがいふ、トリノの聖骸布、Holy Shroud）は、キリスト教でいう聖遺物の一つで、イエス・キリストが磔にされて死んだ後、その遺体を包んだとされる布。トリノの聖ヨハネ大聖堂に保管されている[1]。イエス・キリストの風貌を写したという布には、聖ヴェロニカの聖骸布[2]やマンディリオン[3]など複数あったといわれる。
特徴
本体は、縦4.41m、横1.13mの杉綾織の亜麻布(リンネル)である。生成りに近い象牙色の布の上に、痩せた男性の全身像(身長180cm)がネガ状に転写されているように見える。布上に残された全身像の痕跡から、頭を中心に縦に二つ折りにして遺骸を包んだと見られ、頭部、手首、足、脇腹部分には血痕が残っている[4]。 1532年にフランス・シャンベリの教会にて保管されていた際に火災に遭い、その一部を損傷した。1534年、聖クララ修道会の4名の修道女によって損傷部分には継ぎ当てを、裏には当て布が縫いつけられた[5]。1978年の科学調査では、血は人間のものであり血液型もAB型と証明された[6] 。2002年には継ぎ当てと当て布を外す作業が行われた。聖骸布の裏側には人物の姿は見られず、血のしみ込みのみが見られた[7]。↓画像
