”And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. Z he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine desires new, for he says, ‘The old is good.’”“

O. This analogy is often cited in leadership and paradigm shift references. For often when new innovations or ideas for change take place within  an old structure it often fails to produce successful results. Or it can even be catastrophic and you lose both the wine and wineskins. So when there is a change it needs to be the structure that also needs to change. Holy Spirit  comes anew there is a need as well to be ready for the shift.

A.  So as the new year sets in I can work at looking for ways to innovate on the old ways. Just today my Boss asked me to start moving forward on pushing changes at the store even if it means shaking the boat with the current Store Manager who seems to set in his ways. But ministry can also be adapted as well and my visions for Family ministry could also be shaken up as well.

P.  Dear Jesus as there is truth in the new wineskins I pray that the new wine in my life will not be wasted. Wherever you open the door for new wine I pray that I can keep it and not waste it. If it be at Home, work, or church, may I be able to establish the new wine.
