”And when it was day, he departed and went into a desolate place. And the people sought him and came to him, and would have kept him from leaving them, but he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.”“

O. At this point in His ministry the church word was out and Jesus had hit the circuit as well as critical mass. People wanted to be heard n his presence and in his new found popularity. So they tried to keep him but Jesus had others plans and a set purpose to fulfill. He made the executive decision to not stay stagnant and proceed on to other synagogues as He states. NThe easy thing to do is to continue with the preaching there yet the message of the Kingdom of God needs to be shared.
A. First of all the kingdom of God needs to shared that being said it needs to be understood what is the Kingdom of God and why it was preached in a political form of a governmental kingdom. It is to know that it’s larger than life and structured to be place of goodness and glory. We can see it was a blessed message of greatness to come. To add to this we too can’t be stagnant with the message and follow Jesus lead.
P. Dear Jesus thank you for going out and fulfilling your mission and purpose to preach and build the Kingdom of God. May we see how we can learn to be apostolic in getting the word out to others. I pray for clear purpose and focus to get out of my comfort zone and not let others hold me back from moving forward. In Jesus Name I pray Amen.
