Job Location: Honolulu Compensation: $18-25/hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire - Full Time Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm


 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
    ● Assist attorneys with administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, and data entry.
    ● Manage and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files.

  2. Communication:
    ● Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals.
    ● Draft and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and emails.
    ● Answer phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries in a professional manner.

  3. File Maintenance:
    ● Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
    ● Ensure accurate and timely filing of legal documents with the appropriate courts.
     

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    ● High school diploma or equivalent required.
    ● Additional education or certification in legal studies or secretarial skills is a plus.
  2. Skills:
    ● Strong organizational and time management skills.
    ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    ● Proficient in MS Office suite
    ● Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  3. Experience:
    ● Prior experience in a legal setting is preferred but not mandatory.
    ● Willingness to learn and adapt to the fast-paced legal environment.
  4. Team Player:
    ● Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
    ● Positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges
