A degasser is a device used in drilling to remove gasses from drilling fluids which could otherwise form bubbles. For small amount of entrained gas in a drilling fluids, the degasser can play a major role in removing small bubbles that a liquid film has enveloped and entrapped. KOSUN VD Series Vacuum Degasser is vacuum type. It applies the vacuum pump suction to form a negative pressure region in vacuum cylinder. The drilling fluids is forced to flow into the hollow shaft of the rotator through suction pipe under the atmosphere pressure. After that, the fluids sprays to cylinder walls out of hollow shaft windows. At this time, the drilling fluids is separated to a thin layer under the collapse together with separating impeller and gas bubbles in the mud may break and are displaced to a safe place under the vacuum pump with liquid/gas separator through air displacement pipelines of the separator while the mud is drained out by impeller.
