Hamels (14-9) was vying to tie his career high with 15 wins, but two bad pitches did him in. Outside of the homers, the left-hander was solid with nine strikeouts and no walks. Philadelphia remained four victories shy of setting a franchise record for wins in a season. Fernando Salas completed the shutout with a scoreless ninth.

NFL Cowboys' Tony Romo has collapsed lung

The team said the condition, known as pneumothorax, wasn't unusual for an injury such as the one Romo sustained against the 49ers. The collection of air in the space around the lungs can put pressure on the lung so it can't expand as much as it normally would when taking a breath.
