<Some people prefer to eat at food stand or restaurants. Other people prefer to prepare and eat food at home. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.>
I understand that some people prefer to eat at food stands or restaurants because it is convenient and does not need to spend time preparing. However, I would like to prepare and eat food at home. The reasons are the following.
First, preparing and eating food at home is much cheaper than eating at food stands or restaurants. In particular, the cost has become more sensitive because of recent inflation, which is very important. The price of eating at food stands or restaurants includes the labor cost for preparing; however, if I prepare food at home by myself, I do not have to pay that labor cost.
Secondly, I can manage the taste of food at home. For instance, I add sugar to dishes at home more than usual because I like sweety. If I want to have a similar taste at food stands or restaurants, I have to ask chefs for special orders, but not many food stands or restaurants accept such demands. To arrange the taste satisfying me, I have to cook at home by myself.
Furthermore, I can avoid using harmful materials when I cook at home. I have already become over forty years old and should have little oil. Food at stands or restaurants usually uses a lot of fat, which improves the taste of food.
Of course, preparing food at home needs time and is challenging work for busy people, including my wife and me, but I want to do it for these three reasons.
