Dreadful herbal medicines
When we talk to the general public about the dreadful effects of medicinal poisons, most people think that medicinal poisons are limited to Western medicines and that Chinese herbal medicines are hardly considered medicines at all, but this is very wrong. However, this is a serious mistake. As a medicine itself, it is weaker than Western medicines, but the quantity of Chinese medicines is very large. Since ancient times, Chinese medicines have been infused in earthenware jars and taken daily as a medicine, or even as a tea substitute by some people, so they are dozens or hundreds of times more potent than Western medicines.
In my experience, gentian is the most poisonous of them all, and people who take a lot of this medicine are very persistent when it comes to purification, and it builds up after every time it is removed, leading to debility and death. Next is dokudami, which is also highly poisonous, and those who have taken a lot of these two first must be very careful. Other medicines are similar, but there is one black, candy-like Chinese medicine, the name of which is not known, which is sometimes taken by people, but this poisoning is also persistent and difficult to cure.
Above all, the extent of the addiction to Chinese medicines can best be determined by the colour of the face. People who take more herbal medicines tend to have a paler complexion, often with a pallor. In addition, more women are addicted to herbal medicines, especially those who have been in the willow dance world. This is probably because they have long been considered effective against women's diseases. I once treated a person who drank it every day for more than 20 years, who developed kidney tuberculosis and was given up by his doctor, but the poison was so great that it almost ruined his head.
This is something we all know, but the reason why so many Chinese people have blue-yellow faces is probably because they are addicted to Chinese medicine.
