Nature’s
Vitality and the Blind Spots of Medical Science
The erroneous aspects of medical science are as I consistently teach,
and of the mistakes of medical science, the most egregious is the
complete disregard of the natural restorative power, that is, nature’s
vitality, which human beings congenitally possess.
Let us suppose individuals get
sick. They immediately go and see a doctor and what they often hear is
something to the effect that, “It’s good you have come soon. If you had
been too late, your condition might have become serious.” Doctors say
this because medical science holds that leaving a condition alone will
only cause it to worsen. Here, attempts are made to forcibly halt the
condition with the use of pharmaceuticals and various other sorts of
treatments. What should be known is that in worrying that being “too
late” is to be avoided, medical science commits a grave error. As I
teach, disease is a function for elimination of toxin, and if left
alone, the toxin will be steadily discharged and the patient is bound
to recover. Symptoms such as fever, cough, phlegm, mucous, sweat,
diarrhea, pain, and itchiness are for this purpose of elimination, and
if endured, the impurities within the body will be discharged and the
body will become purer. There is no such thing as “too late.”
Medical science does not
understand the principle of toxin elimination and interprets the
patient’s purifying condition to the contrary, so doctors are very
loathe to leave a condition as it is. Medical science seeks to stop the
discharge of the impure elements that are seeking an outlet, and
considers it satisfactory to solidify the insides of the body. It is
only natural that disease cannot be completely healed by these methods.
In this regard, another blind spot of medical science is in the
treatment of conditions such as injuries and burns. These conditions
invariably give rise to suppuration, and, greatly fearing the discharge
of pus, medical treatment uses various methods to suppress its
formation, but these therapies are also a big mistake. Due to the
irritation from the wound, toxin accumulates in that region, and since
every human being possess a sizable amount of toxin, the body will seek
discharge of the toxin at every opportunity. The toxin immediately
accumulates around the wound and starts discharge. The more the pus,
the more toxin there is to come out. Medical science, however,
interprets this phenomenon as germs invading and reproducing within the
body, sees it as a negative process, and forcibly stops the pus, using
that such as disinfectants, cooling, injections, and rest, various
treatments, which from our perspective all seem to be simply ridiculous
as they do the opposite of what should be done.
Another problem are the
disinfectants used in the medical treatment of various conditions.
Disinfectants seep into the muscles and as time passes, a frightening
toxic activity occurs. It is frightening because no matter how minute
the germ, as it is a living organism, if there is a pharmaceutical
strong enough to kill it, the impact of killing germs on the human body
is enormous as well. As the disinfectant ages inside the body, it
becomes virulent, and eventually purification will occur that manifests
in symptoms such as fever, pain, or unpleasantness, problems quite
acute. When presented to doctors, these symptoms are diagnosed as
conditions of unknown cause, because, of course, medical science itself
has produced these afflictions. Doctors cannot imagine that the
disinfectants they use are the source of disease, so frequently are
heard words to the effect that there is no way to treat such
conditions.
Thus, the function that
cleanses and removes impurities within the human body is continuously
activated, a function I refer to as the vitality of nature. In this
way, the human being is born with the vitality to heal itself
naturally. The very method that respects and manifests this vitality
should be the true healing art. But medical science thinks rather that
it is satisfactory to stop the activity of this vitality and promotes
its stoppage, so the extent of the error of medical science is all so
evident. This is not just reasoning or theory. Above all, the facts of
actual cases clearly illustrate this mistake. Let us suppose someone
catches a cold. If left alone from the very beginning, as described
previously, the body will heal quickly itself and the cold will go
away. What should ordinarily end in usually about a week can take from
three to four weeks with medical treatment. Furthermore, as a natural
treatment method, human vitality steadily heals without obstruction,
while medical treatment prolongs recovery. Medical science can also
worsen the condition with complications. There are even patients
suffering from a cold who come down with tuberculosis. In some cases
medical treatment heals the common cold, but these are people who
innately possess a very vigorous regenerative power and recover in
spite of the interference of medical science. The number of such people
is indeed few, but in the majority, the dissolving toxin is temporarily
solidified and the patient appears to have recovered.
I believe the preceding has
generally shown that although medical science appears to have greatly
advanced, it is based on ignorance which people seem to believe to be
worthy of gratitude.
The human being has been given
wonderful healing power by nature, a natural regenerative power against
which medical science cannot compete. Just to learn this fact affords a
great deal of happiness. But even more, the Johrei of World Messianity
strengthens and promotes the natural regenerative power, so Johrei can
be seen as the most advanced rational healing method.
