この歌は「イグアナの娘」と言う萩尾望都原作漫画のドラマ化の主題歌でした。
醜形恐怖症を題材としたドラマであり、
娘を愛することが出来ない母親と母から愛されない娘、
両者の苦悩と成長をファンタジーの要素を織り込んで描いた、そんな話だったんだ～（爆）
母親役の川島なおみが氷のように冷たくて、
恐ろしかったです。
最終回は見損なっちゃったけど、
この歌のように最後は仲良くお互いのわだかまりが解けたのかな？
主題歌は綺麗な声だな～っとうっとりと聞いていたけど
どうやら同性愛のというかもう少し清らかな少年の友情みたいな詩の内容です。
