いやあ、最近はこのブログを書くのが楽しいです！
毎日、本当にたくさんの人が読んでくれてて、最高!!
それでもって、アメリカ人と日本人の両方が楽しんでくれているのがいいですね！！
３週間ほど前の話になるのですが、俺はイレブンアーツの森さんからある仕事を頂きました。
ミッションは「日本から来る、日本映画界からの大物二人の通訳兼ドライバー。」
オダギリジョーさんが所属する芸能事務所「鈍牛倶楽部」の
社長である国実さんと天才映画監督の園子温監督でした。
園さんがやろうとしている、あるプロジェクトのためにロサンジェルスに来られたのです。
国実社長は日本の芸能界の女帝と呼ばれている方で、正直かなりの大物です。
だから、さっそくレンタカーで高級車を借りて来ました。 あのオダギリさんをスターに
したやり手の女帝です。どんだけ、怖い人なのかなあーと会う前はドキドキしていたのですが、
俺に凄く優しくしてくれて、高級ランチ、高級ディナーの席で毎日ごちそうしてくれました。
それでもって、毎日会うビッグなゲストの方にいつも俺の事を紹介する時間を取ってくれて、
俺の名刺や俺の映画のチラシを、様々なビッグプロデューサー達に「北村君、あなた、見せるものがあるでしょ。」
って感じで渡させてくれるんです。 本当に本当に懐の深い、俺みたいな新米の人間もちゃんと
思って、ケアしてくれるなんて！ さすが、国実さん！！ 映画界の女帝！！
毎日、もう本当にかなりディープな業界話が聞けて、かなり勉強になりました！
俺は日本の芸能事務所に入る時がくるなら、ぜひ鈍牛倶楽部に所属したいです。
かなり大きな事務所なので、妄想していると思われるかもしれませんが。(笑）
そのくらい、俺にとって国実さんはビッグで尊敬できる人でした。
そして、園子温監督。
「自殺サークル」や「奇妙なサーカス」、オダギリジョー主演「ハザード」
傑作「紀子の食卓」、最新作の栗山千明主演「エクステ」の脚本、監督でございます。
テレビでは「時効警察」なども手掛けている、かなりの才能の持ち主です。

紹介してくれた森さんが、「お前と園監督は似ているところがあるから、彼からいろいろな事を
吸収しろ！」と言ってくれて、俺にこうやって会う機会を与えてくれたのですが、正直俺の中で
彼から得たものはマスターカード的に言えば、プライスレス！！
衝撃を受けまくりのいい経験をさせていただきました。園監督がアメリカで撮ろうとする
映画のアイデアを浮かべ、それからストーリーに展開し、シノプシスを書くという仕事を手伝わ
させてもらいました！！ 正直、日本ではこんな経験は出来ないですよ！！ しかも、彼はなんと
それを４、５日で仕上げるという天才技を俺に見せつけてくれました！！
「クリエイティブを探す！！」と言いながら、「やっぱ、セックスかあ、、」と突然
わけのわからない事を口走り、サンセット通りにある、軽くエッチな雰囲気でポルノを見ながら
コーヒーが飲める「ハスラーカフェ」っていう所でエロ本を片手に持ちながら、
怒濤のようにアイデア、ストーリーを考えつく園さんは正直、
どんな変態監督だよ！！ と思いました！！
でも、だらか天才なんですよね。
そうやって、濃い時間を一緒に過ごしているうちに、だんだんと俺の中である一つの思いが
強くなりました。 「あれ、この人は本当に俺に似ている。」
俺は今まで他人を見て、そう思った事は一度もなかったので、正直かなりビックリしてしまい
ました。なんだか、一緒にいて心地が良かったんですよね。全然、偉そうじゃないし、
先輩づらも全くしないし。本当に友達になった感じで。だからこそ、園さんの一言、一言を
頭の中のノートに書いて、吸収、勉強しました。本当は大先輩ですから。訳の分からない事を
口走りながら、時々、ドキッとするくらい鋭い事を言ってくるのが面白いんですよね。
シノプシスを書き終えて、園さんが俺の家に来て、二人でお祝いのビールを飲みました。
酔っぱらって、俺がドキドキしながら俺の映画「I'll Be There With You」の予告編を
家のテレビで見せたのですが、けっこう気に入ってもらえて、凄く嬉しかった。
なんだか、師匠が弟子の作品を褒めるみたいで。
師匠！！ 温かい言葉、ありがとうございます！
それで、酔っぱらった園さんが俺の家の前の道路にでかでかと「FUCK」って小便で
書いた時はやっぱり変人やなと確信しましたが。（笑）
とりあえず、園監督の事は今日はここまで。 また後で、彼については書くと思います。
俺は密かに園監督の次回作には役者として、参加させていただきたいと思っています。
もちろん、狙うは主演。 ぜんぜん、密かじゃないですね。 （笑）
カンヌでの松本と武ではないのですが、
「リスペクトするから、勝ちたい。」
と松本人志が北野武に対しての思いをぶっちゃけました。
俺も園さんにはそう思っていたいです。
そう考えながら車を運転していると、俺はふとある一言を言っている自分に気づきました。
「やっぱ、セックスかあ、、」
俺も変態ですね。

Oh! It's so fun to write a blog lately!! So many people is reading it everyday! Great!!
I think it is awesome that both American and Japanesecan read this blog!!
I will write about what happened three weeks ago. Ko from Eleven arts gave me this one job.
The mission was "to be a interpreter/driver for two big time people from Japanese film industry."
The one is Mrs Kunizane, the president of a big time talent agency "Dongyu Club" who manages
the NO 1 star in Japan "Joe Odagiri".
and the other person was a genius director Sion Sono.
They came to USA for the Hollywood movie project which Sono will direct.
The president Kunizane is considered "Queen of the Industry"
and honestly she is BIG TIME!! So I decided to rent a luxury car for them.
She is the queen who made Joe Odagiri a star and I was almost afraid of her before I met them.
However, she turned out to be so kind to me, and she paid for expensive lunch and dinner for me everyday!!
I was so happy to eat such a delicious food!! And she introduced me to another big time industry people
such as Mr Taka Ichise, the producer of "The Ring" and "The Grudge"
She always told me to give them my business cards and the flyers for my film. I was just a driver!! How lucky!!
How great she is to think about a new person like me!! She is after all "the Queen of the Industry".
I listen to her industry related stories every day and I learned so much from it!
If there will be the time for me to join an agency in japan, I would love to join her company "Dongyu Club".
People might think I am fantasizing since it is such a big company!!
I must tell you that I respect her that much!
And I must talk about the director Sion Sono.
He has written and directed such films as "Suicide Club". "Strange circus" , "Hazzard" starring Joe Odagiri,
the masterpiece"Noriko's dinner table" and his latest film "Ekusute" starring Chiaki Kuriyama
(she is GO GO Yubari from Quentin Tarantino's "KILL BILL"!!)

Ko ,who introduced me to them, said "Learn many things from him! Your style is kind of similar to his style."
I am so grateful that I got this experience. It was "Priceless" like the mastercard ad.
It was almost shocking experience to work with him, I helped him to come up with the synopsis of the
Hollywood movie he will direct. He came up with the idea and,then story and He had done it for 5 days!!
Such a genius work!
I could never experience something like that if I was in Japan. Working with Sion sono!!
He was always shouting "Creative! I gotta look for Creative!!" and then he said some crazy shit like
"well,it is sex after all" then He was writing his screenplay as he was reading a porno magazine on his right hand
at "Hustler Cafe" (it is a cafe and a porno shop combined together. I love it!) on sunset blvd.
And looking at how he worked like that, I thought He was some kind of crazy kinky director!!
I guess that is why he is genius.,
As I spent my time with Sono every day, I started to think that "He is very similar to me.."
I never thought like that to others in my life so It really surprised me. I felt really comfortable to be with him.
He never acted like a boss or somebody bigger to me...we were friends. so that is why I was listening to
every single words he spoke and writing them down in my notebook of my brain.
He is after all one of the greatest original filmmaker.
He told me some crazy shits but sometimes he said something that spoke to my heart. It was very cool.
We finished writing the synopsis and decided to drink some beers
in my place. I got drunk and showed him the trailer of my film "I'll Be There With You".
I was little nervous to show him that but He really liked it!! and That made me very happy!!
It was like a mentor complimenting his student. "Thanks so much for your kind words, my teacher!!"
Then, He got really drunk and started to draw the words "FUCK" at the street right in front of my house.
That made me realize that he is an insane man after all. haha!
Allright, I will stop talking about Sono for today. I will write about him later.
I am secretly trying to actually act in his new film as a lead..I guess it is not secret anymore..
In Cannes film festival this year, the director Hitoshi Matsumoto told the press how he felt about
the most respected Japanese director Takeshi Kitano.
Matsumoto said
"I respect him and that is why I want to win againt him."
I always want to feel like that to Sion Sono..
As I was driving my car and thinking about that, I realized I said some words to myself..
"Well, it is sex after all.."
I guess I am a crazy kinky director after all.
