今回は前回の
ユニバーサルスタジオハリウッド旅行の
ブログの続きです。

家族で
ユニバーサルスタジオハリウッドに
旅行に行ったのですが
ロサンゼルスからサンディエゴの
ちょうど帰り道の途中でもあるので、
ディズニーランドにも行ってきました！
以前にもディズニーランドに
行ったことはあったのですが
今回はGenie+という特別なチケット
を購入しました！😆
まず
Genie+は普通の入場チケットに
プラスできるチケットで
パーク内のライトニングレーンという
優先レーンを使うことができます！
ライトニングレーンは
スタンバイレーンと違って
優先的にアトラクションに乗れて
待ち時間を短縮することができます！
Genie+は一人$25で
1パーク分を楽しむことができます！
なので
私たちはこのGenie+のことを
"魔法のチケット"だと思っていました。
しかし
夢の国でも現実が待ち受けているのです...
当日になって
いざ家族でライトニングレーンに
並びに行ったら
このGenie+にはカラクリ？
というか、事前に知っておくべき事項が
あることをわかりました🤫
1. ライトニングレーンを使うには予約が必要
2. すべてのアトラクションで
ライトニングレーンが使えるわけではない
3. 1回予約をしてしまうと
それを使うまで次の予約が取れない
4. 一日に何度も同じアトラクションでは
使うことができない
です！
東京ディズニーランドに行ったことがあったり
詳しい方ならお分かりだと思うのですが
これは以前あった
「ファストパス」
にとてもよく似ています。
なので
Genie+は言ってしまえば
「有料版ファストパス」
だったということになります。
しかしながら、限られた時間の中で
最大限にアトラクションを
楽しむことができたので、
"魔法のチケット"までいかずとも
購入する価値はあると思いました！

Today, I’m going to talk about
the second half of our trip.
I went to
Universal Studios Hollywood
with my family and we also went to
Disneyland in Anaheim.
I have been to Disneyland before,
but this time we used
a special ticket called “Genie+”.
“Genie+” is a ticket that can be added
to the 1-Day Park ticket and
we can use the Lightning Lane.
Unlike the Stand-by Lanes,
the Lightning Lane allows us to
get on attractions with priority,
reducing our wait time!
Genie+ is
$25 per person to enjoy 1 park.
So, we thought Genie+ is
a magical ticket but
the happiest place on earth
has also reality.
On that day,
when we were heading to
the Lightning Lane,
we learned that there are
tricks to Genie+.
1. Reservation is needed
to use the Lightning Lane
2. Not all attractions have Lightning Lane
3. One reservation at a time
4. Can’t be used several times in
1 attraction on the same day
If you’ve ever been to Disneyland or
are familiar with it,
this is very similar to
the “Fast Pass” that they used to have.
So, in other words
Genie+ was a “Charged Fast Pass”.
But, I think it’s still worth it because
it allows you to enjoy the attractions
to the maximum even when you
have limited time.
So, if you are planning to visit Disneyland,
trying the Genie+ is always
a great way to make your trip enjoyable.
