My wife found this article, "3 sentences that you should NOT say to foreigners"(LINK).
The 3 sentence in this article are;
1- You can use chopsticks very well.
2- Can you eat natto?
3- What do you think of Japanese girls?
The article said that these questions might offend people from other cultures.
I know that these things are commonly said and asked.
I get them too all the time.
Personally, I would not mind any of them at all.
If someone said to me, "oh you can use chopsticks very well",
I would simply say "thank you".
If someone asked, "can you eat natto?"
I would say "No, I don't like that smell."
If someone asked what I think of Japanese girls,
I would say, "I think they are nice and beautiful".
There is nothing offensive about them.
I think that people are just curious and want to know what I think.
失礼なことを言ってしまうかも・・・と 心配する気持ちもわかりますが
私は とにかく コミュニケーションをとろうとする姿勢のほうが 大事だと思います。
（はい 日本人の女性は ステキだと思います！）
