Okonomi means "as you like/what you like" and yaki means "grill".
We can choose the ingredients from the menu and grill them on the hot plate on the table. <Picture 1-4>
I chose "Kimchi & pork" and "Mochi (rice cake) & Mentaiko (cod ovum)". <Picture 5>
First we should scramble them in a bowl completely, then grill it on the hot plate. <Picture 6,7>
After grilling the both sides, we put special sauce on the pancake,
then put "katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes)" and "ao-nori (dried laver seaweed)" on it. <Picture 8>

今日は父とお好み焼きを食べに行った。
お好みとは「好きなように／好きなものを」、焼きとは「網や鉄板で焼くこと」。
具を選んで、それをテーブル上にある鉄板で焼く。
私は「豚キムチ」と「もち明太子」を注文。
最初にボールの中の具をしっかりと混ぜ、それから鉄板上で焼く。
両面を焼いた後は、焼きあがったお好み焼きの上にソースを塗り、かつお節と青のりを振って出来上がり～☆
