定期的に自分の英語学習について見直しをしていますか？
使うテキストを変えてみたり、
オンライン英会話を始めたり、
英会話カフェに行ってみたい、
と試行錯誤しながら語学学習している私です。
言語を学ぶこと自体が楽しいということと、仕事で使うとか、資格をとらないといけないという切羽詰まった状況でないため、少しづつでも成長してればまぁいいかと思っていました。
でもここでふと、
語学の習得に終わりはなくとも、自分の決めたゴールや進みたい道を歩けているのか、近道はなくとも、遠回りしていないかを、客観的な視点で考えてみてもいいのではないか。
学生という時期をのぞき、
「やっぱり英語を話せるようになりたい！」と勉強し始めて約7年。
社会人として働きながらの断続的な学習とはいえ、7年続けたものを振り返り、ここからの道を考える時期が来ているように感じます。
英語学習の相談ですが、このアメブロ内にもたくさんの英語の先生、メンタルを指導される方などいます。
正直、英語産業は儲かるから、なんだか日本人の英語コンプレックスを刺激しているだけに見える方も多くいます。
私はとりあえず、英語の発音矯正でお世話になっている先生に相談してみたいと思います。
7年も使ってまだこのレベル
と、もしかしたら聞きたくない、受け入れたくない結果も覚悟して、望んでみたいです。
