the   museum   hosts   world  -class   exhibitions   and

holds   a   wide   range   of   research.   At   the   museum,

we   investigate   new   revelations   about   the

significant   lifeforms   that   have   lived   on   the

Japanese   archipelago.


■  Japan's   Energy   Shift   ~ A   message   from   Amory   Lovins ~

Energy   policy   expert   Amory   Lovins   thinks   that   Japan,

with   its   technology   and   recent   experience   with   a

nuclear   crisis,   should   lead   a   global   shift   towards   the

use   of   renewable   energy   sources.

Lovins   visits   the   forefront   of   Japan's   energy   shift   to

share   his   insights.


■  AMAZING   ARTS   OF   JAPAN   ~ EXTRAORDINARY   BUDDHA ~

Buddhism   came   to   Japan   1,400   years   ago,

and   ever   since,   Japanese   sculptors   have

blended   styles   from   the   Asian   continent   with

Japan's   own   sense   of   beauty.   The   program   investigates

styles   and   attractions   of   Bhudda   sculptures.
