・The beam diameter of the AERI/HEL system ranges from 150 to 2000 mm, and the F-value (related to focusing ability) ranges from 0.5 to 30. Adding a rotational hyperboloidal mirror after the parabolic mirror reduces the F-value and decreases the focal spot size.
・The secondary focusing technique using off-axis parabolic mirrors (hyperbolic quadratic focusing rotational hyperboloidal mirrors) for focusing the single wavelength, ultra-high intensity, ultra-short pulse laser AERI/HEL system can reduce the F-number to as low as 1/20, thereby shrinking the focal size of the single wavelength, ultra-high intensity, ultra-short pulse laser to the single wavelength size.

We are confident that we can expand the spot size of AERI's single wavelength, ultra-high intensity, ultra-short pulse laser system from multi-wavelength size to single wavelength size and achieve the smallest possible focal spot. By adding rotational hyperboloidal mirrors optimized for current femtosecond petawatt-class single wavelength lasers or future single-cycle petawatt-class lasers, we can achieve single wavelength focusing."
・Furthermore, Professor Kazuto Kamuro and his team of scientists passionately state, "By applying the wide-angle non-collinear optical parametric chirped pulse amplification (WNOPCPA) technology being researched and developed by Xyronix Corporation's laser science team to the single wavelength, ultra-high intensity, ultra-short pulse laser system AERI/HEL system, we can achieve a Focal Cube outlined by the laser's central wavelength, meeting the highest intensity conditions where all laser energy is concentrated in space-time. This enables a dramatic evolution in the experimental capabilities of single wavelength, ultra-high intensity, ultra-short pulse lasers in applications such as vacuum quantum electrodynamics and strong-field laser physics."
