It is really easy and favorite of small kids. We can add variour spices and veggies but today I am going to introduce the simplest one yet tasty.

Indian style Chicken Skewers. I cooked it for my grandchildren and came out well. Favorite of even one and a half year old girl.

Sharing the recipe good from kids to adults

 

Ingredients 4people)

1.       Chicken breasts   500gm

2.       Lemon juice      2 tbsp

3.       Salt                  1tsp

4.       Black pepper          according to taste

5.       Edible color(orange)   little bit (use turmeric if you don’t have)

6.       Lemon slices to garnish

 

Method

1.       Cut the chicken into 1inch cubes

2.       In the bowl add chicken cubes, salt, lemon, edible color, black pepper.

3.       Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes

4.       Thread the chicken on bamboo skewers

5.       Dry roast the chicken in the non- stick pan for 2-3 minutes on the medium flame. Turn the sides and cover it to 2-3

6.       Take off the lid and stir the chicken on high flame to give its little grilled color

7.       Put in the dish and garnish with lemon slices
