超感動！オーストラリアが故郷です！
オーストラリア出身の有名人たちが集まったシドニーでのイベント。
今は世界中に散らばったけれども、それでもオーストラリアは僕たちの故郷なんだ、
という歌です。
カンタス航空のキャンペーンの際に作られた歌ですが、
国歌にしてもいいという世論もあるくらいのいい歌です。
国を出て、世界で活躍している人たちの心境を考えると
聞いてるだけで涙が出る曲です。
日本で生まれて日本で育ち、日本に暮らす私たちにはなかなか理解しがたい心境でしょうが
一度国を出てグローバルな視野を身につけるとよく分かります。
オーストラリア、を「日本」に置き換えるとよく分かります。
国をでても、それでも日本は私たちの故郷です。
異国でがんばる留学生、ワーホリたち。
