From next week I will go out to collect samples for my current research project, it is too late to get a proper report from them but maybe I can get something short and simple published with good results.
Still, it is a lot of work to prepare since it is going to be almost a full week of the trip, to a quite popular destination and it is going to involve a lot of physical work in the sun.
One good thing is that I now have the chance to "overwrite" depressing memories I have about the location, another is that I can meed someone very dear that lives over there. But the huge amount of work expected is still making me think twice about how much effort I can dedicate to relax over there.
This weekend was supposed to be about taking care of other kinds of work so I can leave the lab without having to get anybody else to help with my cultures, but some trouble happened with the materials we are sending to do the work so now I need to see what can be done about it.
