Introducing IELTS SKILLS SESSIONS
IELTS Skills Sessions are designed to support students as they move towards the rigorous IELTS exam. Every Friday, teachers use targeted grammar, vocabulary and skills necessary to prepare students for each of the four tests.
Each session focuses on one of the four tests, so students are constantly engaging with the types material they will encounter, but will have properly scaffolded lessons created around IELTS practice tests.
Skill development includes: analysing good samples of writing; brainstorming vocabulary related to the various topics before tackling an activity; and focusing on certain aspects of grammar before speaking and writing, to maximise what has been learned during the week.
These lessons are designed to help students focus their studies, chart their improvement, and maintain motivation as they work toward their goals.
So now, Fridays will offer IELTS Foundation students a CHOICE of:
