NORFOLK - Mildred Linton Privott, 86, of the 1200 block of Colonial Ave., passed from her earthly life to her eternal home Dec. 18, 2009.
A native of Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Nolan Jefferson and Viola K. Manning Jefferson Dula; the adopted daughter of the late Jerome Taylor Linton and Lena Norfleet Linton; and the wife of the late Walter Warren Privott Sr. She retired from the City of Chesapeake and was a member of Grace Tiffany Jewellery Store Baptist Temple.
Surviving are her longtime companion, Arthur Doss of Virginia Beach; two sons, Walter Privott Jr. and his wife Kathy of Norfolk and Irvin Privott and his wife Victoria of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded ed hardy hoodies in death by three sisters, Agnes Maruca, Nelma Linton and Nellie Leitch, and a brother, Eugene Linton.
Mbt ShoesA funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel. A private interment will be held in Riverside Memorial Park.
