Michael Jordan believed he could fly when he laced up his Air Jordan IIs during the 1987 NBA Dunk Contest, but with these babies, you can fly into the stratosphere. Here’s a look at the latest Jordan Brand tangent project – the Air Jordan II Max. Featuring the classic Air Jordan II upper modified with patent leather and breathable mesh tongue, the Air Jordan II Max features a basketball-specific 360-degree Max Air unit – similar to the one seen in the Jordan Take Flight (but without the superfluous Air unit exterior housing). This colorway is inspired by the original White/Black/Red colorway that Jordan wore in 1987 (although a black midsole would’ve been more fitting). Another note is the branding on the heel; we’ve seen ‘NIKE’ and we’ve seen ‘Jordan’, but the Air Jordan II Max uses ‘AIR’ for good reason (there’s plenty of it). Could there be more 360 Max Air Jordans on the way? Check http://nikefreerun30v5.weebly.com/ out the detailed images of the Air Jordan II Max and stick with Sneaker News for all information and updates regarding this latest development. via MarqueeSole.

The black leather jacket is an icon of rugged American style cos it’s the type of garment that can take a beating and often looks even better when it’s weathered. Same deal with this new Nike Air Royal Mid in ‘Faded Black’. These joints offer a more traditional approach to the molded Swoosh look than we’ve seen on some pairs, their only colorblocking a strip of white along the midsole for the purest of all contrasts. These could conceivably become your everyday shoes for a very long time, or just something you break out from time but already looks like they’re well-worn. Either way, the latest Air Royal Mid is available now at select Nike Sportswear dealers including Dr. Jays locations in New York.
