Rain falling on Tohoku
Rain is falling on parts of Tohoku today. If you live in Tohoku, did you go out in the rain? If you are conscientious, probably not. US News & World Reports tells us that the key to a long life is having conscientious habits. Buckle your seat belt, drive safely, don't smoke and stay out of the nuclear rain.
Who ever thought something like this would happen in Japan? Anybody who saw past nuclear errors in Japan. Will Japan learn from this and move away from nuclear energy? I hope but am doubtful. Will Japan stop being secretive about nuclear errors and the power industry? I hope but am doubtful. Will the Japanese government get better at regulating the nuclear power industry? Probably, but will the government get good enough to prevent future problems? I hope but am doubtful. Will the Japanese people rise up in protest and change things? I hope but am doubtful.
